This devised theater piece was produced by Asolo Repertory Theater's Education Outreach program, directed by Leah Page and Emily Freeman, and performed by Sarasota/Manatee County high school theater students. It gave the students a chance to not only create a piece of their own, but it allowed them delve into their community and find an important message to deliver.

Lend Us Your Voice was inspired by Life In The Middle, which played at the Asolo in late 2009. Devised theater pieces seem to be on the rise as a valid effort to connect communities with the arts and give a voice to anyone willing to contribute to the creative process.
